April 2017 UWOTM compitition, week 2

Well Oxy kicked in early in the second week, with a  fine FP and another hat tip. Since then we've seen a varied litany of FP authors including S-Bahn, Wrenfoe, Adrian Bamforth and David H among others.  In the NiB department there's also been a variety of authors, some hailing from week 1 including Underconstruction, YaBasta, Deceangli and myself, others making their debut NiB in this competition.

Ticker-wise it has been a quieter week - it could hardly have been a more active week than week 1 to be fair and keeping the pace up would be a stretch.  Having said that some corking tickers this week.  Some personal favourites have come from underconstruction, Chrisf, AReader and MADJEZ, but all were good in their own way. Make sure you visit the main site on a regular basis to catch the latest tickers - they've been changed at regular intervals each day this week.

In terms of the competition at the half way point I've managed to hang onto the lead - just - but YaBasta is hot on my heels and both chrisf and Wrenfoe aren't far behind.  On our collective heels comes a strong group of writers who are all subbing good contributions.  While it seems likely that the eventual winner this month is in the top 6 names in the list below, it's far from certain.

As we enter the Easter weekend, one of those periods where family life tends to intrude into writing time, it's a good opportunity for anyone trying to catch up to pitch a sub that catches the editor's eye, so go for it.
